The Magnificent St Cuthbert window

York Minster’s largest surviving narrative-stained glass window in the world is now back at the Minster after reparation and taking centre stage at an exhibition!    Experts removed all 152 panels from the St Cuthbert Window to be cleaned and repaired, many of which are nearly 600 years old.

The window is among the finest remaining examples of the art and techniques of medieval glaziers and stonemasons.
