The transformation of York railway station has moved onto the next stage of development. First approved by York Council in March 2020, The York Station Regeneration Project will see the Queen’s Street bridge removed, the station entrance to be reorganised and the provision of new station buildings as the key changes. The project, valued at around £25 million, will increase space for pedestrian and cycle access with the aim to create a modern and accessible station for all tourists and residents.
