The Terry’s clock tower in York will start working for the first time in sixteen years. The landmark has not worked since the shutdown of the chocolate factory in 2005, where it used to keep the time for thousands of factory workers. The clock tower has undergone restoration for three years and is now ready to work once again, this time accessible by lift as discussions about public access to the clock are being undertaken by local heritage groups.
