On Sunday 14th July at 9am, the annual Sledmere Charity Car Boot Sale will be taking place in the park at Sledmere to raise fund for Saint Catherine's Hospice - Scarborough, Sledmere Church, Sledmere Village Hall and The Wagoners Special Reserve Museum Trust. This is probably one of the poshest Car Boots you will go to with around 100 stalls selling everything from antiques and furniture to craft items and trinkets. If you’ve always wondered what that old vase is worth that you have at home, why not bring it along for an appraisal by Caroline Hawley, the well-known antiques expert from Flog-It, Bargain Hunt and Put Your Money In who will be with us throughout the morning. We will also have a Grand Raffle which will be drawn around 1.00 pm which has some great prizes up for grabs from local companies including days out, tea for two and luxury treats so don’t forget to buy your ticket. Hot and cold refreshments will be available all day so come and make a day of it with us. Admission is £3.50 per person, under 16s are free. Stalls must be pre-booked so please contact us if you would like any further information on sledmere-charitycarbootsale@outlook.com or visit www.sledmerehouse.com.
