Hosted at Hocus Pocus Tiny Hotel, an authentic magical-themed hotel nestled on Patrick Pool, this mystical event celebrates their second anniversary with an evening brimming with all kinds of magic, mysteries and community spirit.

In the shadows of York's ancient architecture, guests will gather upon the sacred grounds of Hocus Pocus Tiny Hotel, embarking on a journey into a realm of the supernatural. Upon arrival, expect a warm embrace with blessings as burning sage fills the air and complimentary elixirs tantalise the senses. Prepare to be captivated by live music and mesmerising performances by Tatwood Puppets, setting the ambience for the evening ahead. Be ready to delve into immersive tours led by York’s own Mad Alice from The Bloody Tour of York as you explore the five uniquely themed rooms of Hocus Pocus Tiny Hotel. Each room offers entertainment and surprises at every twist and turn. From having your future told to being transported to Victorian times, every corner of the hotel holds secrets waiting to be discovered.

But the magic doesn't end there! Ensure you're dressed in your finest magical attire as prizes await the best-dressed attendees. Then, with brooms in hand and the essence of witchcraft pulsating within you, be prepared to soar around the city centre, casting spells and mischief as you venture to some of ancient York's most haunting locations.

"It’s completely free! All ages, genders, and mystical creatures are welcome to join in, "says Co-owner of Hocus Pocus Tiny Hotel and event organiser Camelia Andrei. "Last year was the first event, and the overwhelming response spurred us to go all out for The Witches Coven 2024. It’s a celebration of the diversity of our community and the power of coming together to embrace our shared love of all things weird and wonderful."
