With the most common allergy in the UK being tree and grass pollen (23%), it’s expected to bring additional problems for hay fever sufferers. Temperatures in London, Glasgow, Plymouth, and Cardiff are expected to hit highs of around 25C on Saturday, with pollen levels skyrocketing to high alerts in the south of England, the Midlands and Wales.
Research found on average, people who suffer with allergies spend over an hour and a half each day (1.72 hours) sneezing and coughing, almost two hours (1.67 hours) blowing their nose and well over an hour (1.43 hours) getting antihistamines or medication to reduce the symptoms they are experiencing.
