An 11 year old boy from York has been arrested after reports of an altercation involving a knife.
North Yorkshire Police were contacted around 4pm on Monday after a report of a fight between two young boys near the Old Manor School ground in York.
A spokesman from North Yorkshire Police said: “The person who reported the incident stated they believed a knife was involved.”
Officers attended the scene and found that both parties were unharmed.
