
His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services delivers positive report for North Yorkshire policing.
His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services has found there to be improvement in almost all areas of policing in North Yorkshire in its latest report. The report found that 999 calls are now answered on average 6 seconds faster than last year, and the level of investment into neighbourhood policing is over 9% above the average for similar force groups. It was also noted that North Yorkshire’s crime recording is just shy of outstanding.
Acting Chief Constable Elliot Foskett has called it a ‘transformative year for policing in North Yorkshire’ and comments that Yorkshire is ‘one of the safest counties in England’.
