"QueerArts are committed to uplift voices from our community and celebrate diversity through the power of art."
For those who are eager to explore performance but not yet ready to take the stage, QueerArts York offers alternative avenues for artistic expression. Individuals can join the QueerArts Choir or participate in Jive Classes to connect with like-minded individuals and hone their skills in a supportive environment. If you’d rather be backstage/behind the scenes, QueerArts are also looking for volunteers for Pride.
QueerArts York has curated a full programme of arts, dance, and music classes scheduled between now and November. These classes provide valuable opportunities for LGBTQ+ individuals to express themselves creatively and engage with their community.
