ASLEF members are banning non-contractual overtime this week and next which is likely to affect train services in and out of York Station.
LNER has announced that they expect to run a normal timetable this week although they are aware that members of the ASLEF Union are taking action short of a strike until Sunday 6 August. They said, it is possible there will be short-notice alterations and cancellations and it is best to check before you travel.
ASLEF members are not on strike but are banning non-contractual overtime Monday to Friday this week and again from Monday 7th to Saturday 12th August. There has already been four week long overtime bans in May and July severely disrupting trains across the country.
