Autism Plus chocolate shop and café at Easingwold Market is celebrating its one year anniversary on Tuesday 6th August and York Civic Party will be attending to celebrate their success in getting young adults with Autism into work.
The chocolate and cakes is all made by young adults with autism to sell in the shop as well as their famous scones!
The shop serves as a hub for providing essential training and opportunities to young adults with autism and learning disabilities. From mastering customer service and food hygiene to tasks like window dressing, stock rotation, and handling transactions, our trainees engage in diverse aspects of cafe and shop operations, acquiring practical skills and valuable experience.
The cafe is open Tuesday to Saturday 9am to 4pm. Autism Plus Chocolate Shop and Cafe
