Boy dies after Harrogate stabbing

A teenage boy who was injured in a stabbing in Harrogate has now died.

The incident happened on Sunday 19th February and the boy had been critically injured but died yesterday according to North Yorkshire Police.

A 16-year-old boy had been charged with attempted murder on Monday and was remanded in custody to go to court again on 14th March.

It is understood that North Yorkshire Police will not be publicly sharing the name of the victim, but a murder investigation has now been launched.
