Britain’s fastest broadband has arrived in the York area, promising speeds of up to 175-times faster than the national average. Swish Fibre, an offshoot of Octopus Energy, was launched in Yorkshire this August and staff are currently active in areas including Kirbymoorside, Hammerton, and Strensall.
The broadband service is seeking customers in settlements west of York for a service that will eventually reach 10GBPS. Employers have been leafleting homes in Green Hammerton, Tockwith, and Great Ouseburn this week.
