Commuters who use buses are set to see further benefit from the £2 cap on fares as it is now being extended to finish in October.
The extension comes as part of the Government’s Help for Households initiative to support the public with the increased cost of living.
From the £2 cap on bus fares passengers travelling from Hull to York will save a total of £6.50.
Rishi Sunak said that by extending the £2 cap, travel will remain accessible and affordable.
