A new campaign set to aid those affected by the cost-of-living crisis is set to be launched this weekend by local MP.

A new campaign set to aid those affected by the cost-of-living crisis is set to be launched by local MP, Rachel Maskell.

The "York Together" initiative, which will be overseen by York Central MP Rachel Maskell, begins with a "warm weekend" event on 17th and 18th November,  where members of the local public can donate warm clothing and blankets

The event will be located at St Saviourgate Methodist Church with the items donated being distributed to those who need it most as colder weather returns.

York residents will also receive a Cost-of-Living Crisis Handbook as part of the initiative detailing support, they may be eligible for as well as how you can help those who need it most in these desperate times.  More details on the campaign are expected soon.
