Charity Garden Nursery Shop Reopens after Refurbishment

The Brunswick Organic Nursery and Craft Workshop that closed for refurbishment on the 26th of June has reopened and now has a coffee machine and savoury snacks.

The shop is part of the Brunswick Organic Nursery and Craft Workshops in Bishopthorpe and can be accessed from the Solar System cycle path and Appleton Road.

Brunswick Organic Nursery and Craft Workshop, is a registered charity, which provides a safe and stimulating environment for people with learning difficulty to work in.

It is a plant nursery, growing a range of plants for sale, as well as growing seasonal organic fruit and vegetables.

They can also assist with contract gardening services in the local community.

In addition to the Nursery, there is a craft workshop which produce a range of attractive gift cards, gift wrap, woven goods, bird boxes and other woodworked items, all to a high quality.

Produce from the Craft Workshop and Nursery are all for sale in the shop along with the coffee and savoury snacks.

Brunswick, as it is affectionately known by users of the Solar System Cycle Path has provided this author with many a tasty treat and a friendly welcome.
