A York pub has been named branch Pub of the Year by York CAMRA.
Beating hundreds of other pubs across York and North York, The Swan on Bishopgate Street won branch Pub of the Year.
It's not the first time The Swan has received the award as they were also the winners in 2009. Paul Crossman is the licensee of The Swan as well as The Slip in and The Volunteer Arms.
The pub was built as a beer house and grocery store in 1861 and is a Grade II listed building.
