The council has approved changes to the electric vehicle charging tariffs to avoid a shortfall in the operating costs of EV facilities.

The prices will rise from the end of October to £0.35 per kWh for fast charging (7kWh) and £0.46 per kWh for Rapid and Ultra-Rapid charging.

The council has said the charges will be reviewed again in April 2023 as part of the annual contract renewal process and because of the major changes in energy prices.
