Environmental activists are bringing their ‘Change is Now’ tour to York to help raise awareness around climate action.
The tour is created by climate activists Extinction Rebellion and have toured around the country, predominantly protesting in London and are now coming to York.
Their protest will occur on Wednesday the 28th of September on Parliament Street and will feature public climate counselling sessions, free face painting and arts and crafts as well as talks delivered by scientists.
The group will arrive at 11am for a meet and greet with the main event occurring at 1pm.
