Two fire crews tackled a blaze at a house local to York last weekend on Saturday 20th May.
The call to the house in Dunnington was answered by firefighters from York and Huntington at around 10:25pm after the roof was set alight.
Bob Hoskins, the group manager for the fire service, said that “no persons were injured, and an aerial ladder platform was used to assist crews to find the seat of the fire”.
Hoskins also went on to say that a Fire Investigation Officer is at the scene to determine the cause.
