Firefighters from North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service were called out to a property last weekend, after people noticed the smell of gas coming from the property.
The crews were called to the house in Crambe at around 6:34pm on Friday night. The firefighters carried out a thorough inspection of the property, where it was found that the oil smells were coming from the garage.
Crews also detected Carbon Monoxide via a gas detector but there were no traces of this after the property had been properly ventilated by professionals.
