Forage on Little Stonegate has ceased trading, after announcing the news on Facebook this week. The owners said: “A tough climate and rising costs have unfortunately meant we cannot keep trading.” Disheartened customers expressed disappointment in the comments, one read: “So incredibly sad. Best drinks in York and delicious food.”
Forage opened its doors in September 2021, after the building previously belonged to the Gusto restaurant chain. The building now stands with everything still left inside of it, and the website has been deleted.
