Students at the University of York have begun a fundraiser for local legend Long Boi the duck.
Tributes have poured in this week for the university mascot who was adored for his unusually tall stature.
Long Boi was reported missing some time last month, but last week it was speculated that he was indeed deceased.
University of York have planned to install a plaque or a statue based on contributions made towards the fund.
