Fifteen visitors from the Government of Munster, representing the German city that is twinned with York, came to improve cultural relationships and international communication. The officials carried out various research projects, such as investigating accessibility for tourists with disabilities, child friendliness at tourist attractions and even the relationship between Harry Potter and York. The visitors hired tandem bikes hired at the social enterprise Get Cycling in Fulford to explore the city.
