The Grand Opera House in York has a new managing director - Laura McMillan who hopes to bring big things to the theatre.
Laura, who was previously the director of audience strategy at the Coventry City Culture Trust, plans to carry on producing high quality productions for locals and visitors to York to enjoy.
Laura also plans to work with local schools and colleges to provide experiences to help expose the younger generations to a career in theatre.
