H2O Bathrooms York moves to new premises at Monks Cross Park

Well established H2O Bathrooms York opened their brand new showroom on Saturday 4th February.  Having outgrown their showroom in Stockton on the Forest they are now in brand new, bigger and better premises at Monks Cross Park - Unit 4, Monks Cross Drive, Monks Cross Park, YO32 9GU.

Jorvik Radio were delighted to help H2O with their launch on Saturday and broadcast a live show from their showrooms!  Yes Robbie Burns and Adam Coggin set up amongst the baths, sinks and toilet displays.  At one point, Robbie broadcast from an actual bath!

Husband and wife team Steve and Kate Finch are the owners of H2O Bathrooms York.  Steve is a tiler by trade and set up the business in 2013 and it is very much a family affair.  Their son Ben, daughter Lauren and her husband Matthew Robertson (tiler) all work in the business alongside Caitlin Cox (office) and Tyler (fitter).  Tracey Poole is the Manager and even her husband, Dave, helps out occasionally when the pressures on!

Listeners to Jorvik Radio will have heard the song "Splish Splash" by Bobby Darin played regularly for the last couple of weeks, being the cue for listeners to enter a competition to win a £5000 bathroom makeover courtesy of H2O Bathrooms York. 

The winner was announced live on Robbie Burns Breakfast Show this morning.  Lucky Angela Daniels from York was the winner!  Angela actually thought she had not won believing the draw took place on Saturday at the launch and was totally shocked to get a call live from Robbie's show this morning. She said she is still in shock and that her family are badly in need of a new bathroom but until this morning it was "bottom of their long list" of refurbishments required in their home.  Angela admitted to secretly having the radio on at work everyday and entering the competition at every opportunity she could.  Well done Angela!

H2O Bathrooms York is situated on the new MX park with 30,000 sq ft industrial/trade counter park in the heart of Monks Cross in York and is almost full. The brand-new park features 11 hi-spec units and new occupiers alongside H2O are Howdens, Screwfix and York Minster.  MX park is just after Taco Bell and Go Storage on Monks Cross Drive. 

The showroom is open 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday.
