Hot weather in York to continue for the duration of the weekend

The hot conditions of this summer continue to increase.

 Yesterday, York experienced one of its hottest days of the current heatwave, with temperatures peaking at around 30 degrees Celsius. York’s residents can enjoy, or at least put up with similar temperatures for today, tomorrow and Sunday.

For many, it will come as a relief that the heatwave is due to come to an end on early next week, with some thunderstorms predicted for Monday. This will be followed by light rain and cooler temperatures for the rest of next week.
