York Jobcentre is working with City of York Council in a jobs fair event on Wednesday the 20th of September.
Around 70 exhibitors, including Tesco and M&S, are expected to participate in the Jobs Fair which will take place at the York Railway Institute.
The event will also have support for individuals who have health issues through a disability employment advisor, which will help these individuals unlock new skills in order for them to be more employable.
Jenny Langstaff Deputy Partnership Manager for York said: Unlocking the skills and abilities of jobseekers, improves their employment prospects, and helping achieve the Government’s priority to grow the economy."
