The uninformed Logie family from Edinburgh were welcomed to the Viking centre with sparkles and awarded a Viking-age key enabling them to unlimited visits to the famous York attraction as well as vouchers for the gift shop and a commemorative coin.
The family claimed it was ‘an amazing experience’ and ‘very exciting’ to be the 20 millionth visitor to this historic venue.
