The British fashion brand Joules will be closing 19 branches across the country, however, the two outlets in York have been saved. The retailer has shops in Stonegate and the MacArthur Glen Designer Outlet. The company went into administration last month, leaving 130 stores and 1,600 jobs at risk.
It has now been announced that Next has bought the retailer, along with Tom Joule the founder. The agreement will sadly see the closure of 19 shops and 133 jobs.
