Landords not happy with extended licensing scheme and threaten legal action
To improve standards of accommodation in York’s private rented sector, the Council’s licensing scheme will be extended to Houses of Multiple Occupation with less than 5 occupants.
A landlord group are angered by the scheme and say it is unlawful and may bring a legal challenge.
