On Wednesday March 20 police officers from the Operational Support Unit stopped a vehicle linked to the supply of drugs.
A man in his 40’s was subsequently arrested on suspicion of drug driving, possession of a Class-B drug and for being concerned in the supply of Class-B drugs.
Further enquiries lead officers to search an address on Thoresby Road in York where they discovered what is suspected to be a cannabis farm. A large quantity of Class-B drugs and equipment was seized from the property.
The man was subsequently further arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the production of a Class-B drug. He has since been released under investigation whilst our enquiries continue.
