A large York supermarket has closed until further notice. Due to technical difficulties in the store, Sainsbury’s at Foss Bank is currently not trading. There are staff still inside and the car park is still in use, however, the doors are closed with trolleys placed in front of them and a sign on the door reads ‘Due to technical difficulties in store we are unable to trade here at Foss Bank until further notice.’
A Sainsbury's spokesperson said: “Our York superstore is temporarily closed. “We are working hard to resolve the issue and are sorry for any inconvenience caused.”
