Lenell John-Lewis pens a permanent contract

Lenell John-Lewis has signed a permanent deal with York City. John Lewis joined York on loan back in February from Grimsby Town. He has signed a one year deal after Grimsby released him earlier this month. 

The 33 year old was a vital signing. He made 21 appearances and was key in the push to promotion, scoring six goals in the last seven games of the season. He said “I wanted to come back and try and progress with the club again.”
