York Museum Gardens has been given a makeover courtesy of two local companies working together.
Commercial plant suppliers Johnsons of Whixley joined forces with Boroughbridge based landscape contractor ATM Limited to provide a brand new 12.5 acre botanical garden at the York Museum Gardens.
Over a dozen different types of plants have been used in the new botanical gardens which were carefully selected to make sure there would be flowering plants throughout the whole year. York Museum Trust Garden Manger Steve Williams says that he is, "committed to improving the biodiversity of our city centre gardens which welcome over 1.3 million visitors a year."
