The church which dates back almost 1000 years has had planning accepted to recoat its slate roof stainless steel.
The church was last used as a Sunday school before the pandemic but has been deemed unsuitable due to being damp and wet and the new roof will enable such activities to recommence in the rebuilt 19th century church.
