Treasurer's House, in Minster Yard, will be open from Monday the 1st of April.

A major York attraction is set to open its doors for the first time in 2024 next week. Treasurer's House, in Minster Yard, will be open from Monday the 1st of April. The National Trust site is the former treasury to York Minster and hasn’t been open since the new year.

The site's garden and café are also back open which visitors can access without tickets. As well as this, a new ‘Turning back time’ guided tour is being introduced on Sundays. This tour looks more at the house's past residents - including astronomers, politicians, generals and gentry. Tours of the historic spaces were awarded the Traveller’s Choice Award by TripAdvisor for the last two years.
