A man has been taken to hospital after crashing his car into a tree just off a main North Yorkshire road.
The incident took place on the A170 at Pickering in the early hours of Sunday morning at 3:43 am.
Both Pickering and Kirkbymoorside firefighters were on the scene, finding that the driver was trapped in his hatchback.
Crews then stabilised the car and got the driver out, with the man being taken to hospital via ambulance.
