A masterplan has been submitted for a large housing estate to be built on green belt land in York. Barratt David Wilson Homes won government backing for a 300-home estate between the LNER Community Stadium and New Lane in Huntington back in October.
Now an application for the layout, scale, appearance, landscaping and access of the estate has been submitted to the City of York Council. Details of this plan include the number of homes being reduced to 275 as well as the inclusion of two access roads from New Lane, pedestrian and cycle routes, and areas of open space.
