Meet a Yorkshire Bake Off star at Castle Howard – and ‘try a beautiful cake’

Meet Yorkshire Bake Off star Freya Cox at Castle Howard – where she’ll be signing copies of her book and showcasing her baking.

Freya, from Scarborough, competed on The Great British Bake Off in 2021 when she was just 19. She was the first vegan baker to take part in the show.

 Freya has teamed up with Castle Howard to create three seasonal vegan cakes, and the third and final bake of 2023 is her autumnal Double Chocolate Muffin with Toasted White Chocolate Marshmallows.

Freya will also be visiting the Castle Howard Farm Shop on Tuesday 31 October from 1-3pm, to sign copies of her recipe book Simply Vegan Baking and meet and greet Castle Howard visitors.
