Forestry England is working with City of York Council as their delivery partner for York Community Woodland.
As part of the shared objectives to increase green space, promote health and wellbeing, increase biodiversity, provide new employment and volunteering opportunities and reduce carbon emissions Forestry England will be planning, planting and managing this new woodland on the 78-hectare site to the West of York.
