New details have been released of the plans for York's new Hard Rock Cafe and 64-bedroom hotel, located in the old TK Maxx building. York-based property company North Star Developments has submitted a complete planning application to the Council, revealing that the cafe will be on the ground floor and basement of the building, with different restaurants, coffee shops, and bar areas. The hotel, run by room2, will be created above that.
The development is said to create 110 jobs, with 100 at the Hard Rock Cafe and 10 more in the hotel.
