Plans for a new Moroccan-style restaurant featuring belly dancers have been submitted to the City of York Council. The restaurant will be in the former Bells of York cafe at 8 Low Ousegate with planning documents saying that 25 full-time equivalent jobs will be created. The application says that the restaurant would take up the front areas of the bottom two floors, with around half a million pounds expected to be invested, with the restaurant hopefully opening by the end of the year.
