Police have announced a crackdown on street drinking and anti-social behaviour in York.
North Yorkshire Police say they have been contacted about several issues mainly caused by groups of people gathering in the city centre.
Reportedly the key issues are people drinking alcohol in public, littering and nuisance behaviour.
In response North Yorkshire Police have partnered with York Bid and City of York Council to conduct joint patrols.
