Police launch appeal to locate missing York man - update missing man found

 20-year-old Tyrese from York was reported missing earlier today but has now been found safe and well.

Update: Police stated on Wednesday evening that Tyrese has been found safe and well and said "thank you to everyone for sharing the appeal which has now been cancelled".

20-year-old Tyrese from York was reported missing earlier today.

Concerns are growing for his safety as there have been no confirmed sightings, telephone or online contact from him since yesterday (Tuesday 13 June)

Tyrese is described as being 6ft tall, with pink or orange ‘buzz cut’ hair.

Officers believe that he may be somewhere in the York area.

If anyone has seen Tyrese or someone who matches his description, please contact North Yorkshire Police without delay on 101, option 1.

For immediate sightings, please call 999 so officers can make sure he is safe and well.
