Queen Camilla made a surprise visit to York Racecourse on Friday, for day three of the Ebor Festival.
Continuing the venue's long-standing royal connection, she arrived in a royal blue brocade-edged coat and was greeted by York Racecourse’s chief executive, William Derby.
The Queen was there to watch Crown Estate, a horse she co-owned with King Charles III and trained by the late Queen Elizabeth II, compete in the Sky Bet Mile Handicap.
Although the Crown Estate didn’t place, Queen Camilla appeared to have enjoyed her day at the races.
