Yesterday the Shambles was reopened yesterday after extensive anti-terrorist bollard work.
Work started on Monday the 11th of September, however, it went on for longer than expected due to historic bones being found.
Elsewhere in the city, bollard work is just starting. Colliergate was closed yesterday to install bollards to combat the ‘vehicle as weapon attacks’ threat. Work for this street is expected to be completed by Friday the 17th of November.
