Number of people going to the dentist has plummeted.
The number of people in York going to the dentist has hit a record low as 38.1% of adults were seen by a dentist in the two years leading up to June 2022, according to the House of Commons library. This is down from 56% in June 2018.
There is an oral health report to be presented to the City of York Council today (13th December) emphasising the shortage in order to push for an increase in dental services.
