There were widespread broadband disturbances in hundreds of York households on Wednesday night, after an outage on Sky’s network. The mainly affected areas include those with the postcodes, YO23, YO24, YO31 and YO43.
Sky published a notice which reads: “There is an outage on our network. If your broadband isn’t working, you might be affected by a large outage on our network at the moment”. Sky urged residents to not panic, saying “We have engineers investigating to get you back up and running as soon as we can”.
