As part of “Project Servator” a specialist team of officers can be found at any time in York and North Yorkshire and were in Blossom Street talking to drivers on Wednesday.
The project was launched five years ago and is known as “unpredictable policing” aimed at working and engaging with the public, communities and businesses. Other forces have now adopted this successful approach in policing.
